_ なかなか頭が痛い

取締役会の資料はたたき台レベルはできた。で、契約書の案を渡されたのだが、例によって専門用語の羅列で、読み解くのはなかなか大変。少し時間が欲しいとは言っておいたが。

_ Firefox Is Now Built With Clang+LTO Everywhere, Sizable Performance Wins For Linux

Firefoxはgccでビルドされていたが、これがClangに変更されたようだ。

The current Clang stack they are using is based on LLVM6 while when they transition to the upcoming LLVM/Clang 7.0 they expect 2~5% better performance on top of that.

ということで、パフォーマンスの向上が見込めるようだ。個人的には、gccに頑張って欲しいと持っているので、残念なところだが。
